Evelina Juchnevičiūtė

Evelina Juchnevičiūtė is a graduate from Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania. In 2022 she completed the study programme of Diplomacy and International relations in the study field of Political sciences and after defending her Master’s thesis “Implementation of the European human rights regime. Discourse of the Istanbul Convention in Lithuanian online news media” was awarded with a Master’s degree in Social sciences. Her interests include relations between religion and politics, religious fundamentalism, alternative media, human rights and radical social movements.

Evelina Juchnevičiūtė is also a co-author (together with Dr. Milda Ališauskienė and Dr. Gintarė Pocė) of the book chapter “Christian Right in Contemporary Lithuania: Key Actors and their Agendas ” for the collective volume entitled „The Christian Right in Europe. Movements, Networks and Denominations“ that is scheduled for publication on December 27, 2022 by Transcript Publishing house.
