Laima Geikina

Professor of Practical Theology, Faculty of Theology, University of Latvia.

She has studied theology at the University of Latvia, as well as pedagogy at the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art, University of Latvia.  

Laima Geikina has been working at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Latvia since 2001. Her academic interests include practical theology and particularly in the fields of religious education, spirituality studies and ecumenism, interreligious dialogue. 

In the ReliGen project she is leading researcher and investigates the developments regarding the gender equality and its implementation into education in Latvian Lutheranism.
